A schoolboy was found dead in Koborosthan area of the district town on Friday morning.
The deceased was identified as Sabuj Mia, 15, a class X student of Patuakhali Technical Training Centre and son Motiur Rahman, a resident of the area.
Motiur Rahman, father of the victim, said he phoned his son around 11 pm on Thursday and Sabuj said he was on way home but he did return yet and his phone was found switched off.
