One school teacher was killed in a tragic road mishap in the port city on Thursday .
The accident occurred at Idgaon road crossing under Pahartali thana in city .
Police sources said school teacher Towhid Ahmed(30) of Saint’s Xaviers School of Halishahar received fatal injury when a cargo truck hit him in back side while going to school by motorbike.
Officer incharge of Halishahar thana Mr.Ranjit Barua told that the tragic accident happened in Dhaka trunk road by a speedy speedy truck.
The victim immediately rushed to chitagong medical college hospital where the attending physicians declared him dead.
A case in connection was lodged with the concerned thana , sources said. The body sent to morgue for autopsy, hospital sources said.
