First Security Islami Bank Ltd organised a conference on school banking in Chattogram recently.
As a leading bank of financial inclusion program in educational institutions through lead banking system under the instruction of Bangladesh Bank, the conference would let the students know about savings, creating savings mentality and growing up with a positive view of savings through school banking.
These are the main objectives of the program. S M Moniruzzaman, Deputy Governor, Bangladesh Bank was present on the occasion as chief guest and Syed Waseque Md Ali, Managing Director of First Security Islami Bank presided over the program.
Among others, Md. Abul Bashar, General Manager of Financial Inclusion Department, Bangladesh Bank, Md. Nurul Amin, General Manager, Bangladesh Bank Chattogram Office, Mohammad Hafizur Rahman, Chattogram Zonal Head, First Security Islami Bank Ltd., Abu Hasan Siddique, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education & ICT) Chattogram, S M Mehedi Hasan BPM(BAR), PPM(BAR), Deputy Police Commissioner (South Division) Chattogram Metropolitan Police, Bidhan Chandra Shaha, Deputy Director, Financial Inclusion Department, Bangladesh Bank were present as special guest and representative of every branches of banks situated at Chattogram were also present on the occasion.
