Ninety-seven students have received the Erasmus Mundus scholarships this year from Bangladesh in two categories.
Erasmus Mundus is a cooperation and mobility programme in the field of higher education that aims to enhance the quality of European higher education and to promote dialogue and understanding between people and cultures through cooperation with third countries. The number of scholarship recipients from Bangladesh is gradually increasing every year, said an official.
Head of Delegation of European Union (EU) to Bangladesh Ambassador William Hanna will host a reception for students who received the Erasmus Mundus scholarships on Wednesday.
All the EU ambassadors from the Member State Missions in Dhaka will attend the reception.
