SCB’s Group CFO visits BD

Andy Halford, Group Chief Financial Officer of Standard Chartered Bank, reiterated the Bank’s strong commitment to Bangladesh by making his maiden official visit to the country recently.
During his two-day visit to Dhaka, he met with policymakers – including the Deputy Governor and other senior officials of Bangladesh Bank, key clients, thought leaders and opinion makers.
Andy was accompanied on this visit by Sanjeev Agrawal, Regional CFO-Singapore, ASEAN and South Asia, Standard Chartered Bank.

Throughout our 111 years, we have been a proud partner in progress to the nation, and Andy Halford’s visit reaffirms the group’s commitment to continue this legacy at a time when Bangladesh is set to make giant strides forward”, said Abrar A. Anwar, CEO, Standard Chartered Bank Bangladesh.
Andy Halford was appointed as Group Chief Financial Officer and Group Executive Director of Standard Chartered PLC on 1 July 2014. He is based in London and is responsible for Finance, Treasury, Business Efficiency, Property, Investor Relations, Corporate Development and Strategy functions.
Andy holds a bachelor degree in Industrial Economics from Nottingham University and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
