Supreme Court lawyer SM Rezaul Karim has allegedly been threatened with death.Rezaul Karim, also the chairman of Bangladesh Bar Council’s finance committee, filed a case with Ramnan Police Station on Wednesday under the Information and Communication Technology (Amendment) Act 2013.It was alleged in the complaint that a photo of the lawyer was doctored and published in a website named Hefazat-e-Islam Bangladesh on January 24.Later, the same group twisted and circulated a statement, which was given by him at a talkshow of Somoy TV on January 22, through their Facebook page named ‘Oronne Kichudin’.Following that, members of that Facebook page threatened to kill him.
