UNB, Dhaka :The Supreme Court will hear on Tuesday the review petition filed by condemned war criminal Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Matiur Rahman Nizami challenging its verdict that upheld the International Crimes Tribunal judgment sentencing him to death.The review petition has been kept on fourth of the Appellate Division cause list for Tuesday for hearingat the full-member bench, headed by Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha. On April 10, the Supreme Court (SC) deferred the hearing until May 3 on the review petition against its verdict upholding the death penalty of Nizami. Earlier on March 15, the ICT issued a death warrant for Nizami for his crimes against humanity during the Liberation War in 1971 after the apex court released the full text of its verdict upholding his death penalty.
