The Appellate Division of the Supreme Court ordered to remove a house from the area of Lalbag Fort of the capital within three months.
The Appellate Division also asked the government to pay Abul Hashem, the owner of the house Tk 4 million.
A six-member bench of the Appellate Division led by the Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha
passed the order after hearing on a review petition about the issue on Wednesday.
Advocate Manzil Morshed appeared for the review petitioner’ while Attorney General Mahbubey Alam represented the state.
