Saudi Government has decided to complete immigration formalities of Hajis in respective airports of the countries where major pilgrims ply to Jeddah to perform hajj to avoid the extra immigration chaos at Jeddah airport . In the meantime , Ministry of Religious Affairs of GOB has declared to comply immigration formalities at Dhaka Sha hjalal International Airport of intending pilgrims.
But question arises for pilgrims those fly directly from Shah Amanat Airport, chattogram to Jeddah and the Saudi notifications did not clarify about immigrations for the Chattogram based pilgrims. Hajj Jatri Kaylan Parishad demanded comply of immigrations of Chattogram based pilgrims at Shah Amanat airport. The demand of immigration of the hajj pilgrims of HJKP was placed before the discussions in the Iftar Mahfil duly presided by its President Ahmadul Islam Chowdhury at Hotel Paramount Auditorium on May 17 last. Secretary General of HJKP Principal Dr. Abdul Karim delivered address of welcome in it . The meeting also finalized the Hajj pilgrims training through multimedia projectors for the intending Hajis at Motel Shaikat hall on June 29 next. Dr. Saleh Ahmed Suleman conducted the Iftar mahfil of HJKP.
