Saudi govt gives 5,000 copies of holy Quran to Bangladeshis

The Royal Saudi government has taken an initiative to distribute the holy Quran among the people of Bangladeshi people.
As part of the initiative, Saudi Charge d’ Affaires in Dhaka Hasan Al-Hajmi on Wednesday handed over 5,000 copies of the holy Quran in the first phase.
Religious Affairs Secretary M Abdul Jalil received the copies at his ministry office here, said an official release.
Additional Secretary M Shahidul Islam, Joint Secretary Jakir Ahmed and Director at the Saudi Embassy Ibrahim were present, among others, on the occasion.
