Chittagong Bureau :
Syed Mahfuzunnabi Khokon (Daily Jugantor and Purbokon) and Mohammed Zahed Hossain (Daily Supovat BD.) have been elected President and General Secretary respectively for three years .
Election was held on Saturday. Principal Md. Hamid Hossain of Potiya Sovondondi College acted as Election Commissioner.
Other office bearers are : M Nazim Mahmud (Bhorer kagoj) – Organizing Secretary, Executive Members: Mamun Mohammed (Prothom Alo), Nazim Salam (Weekly Mayni), Nurul Islam sabuj (Daily Sangu) and Sankor Kanti Das (Daily Priyo Chattagram).
