Sarika Sabah is a popular face of the small screen now. She came into limelight to act in role of Jhumur in Mostafa Kamal Raj-directed drama serial Family Crisis, which is being aired on NTV now. Basically this Jhumur role brought Sarika Sabah into discussion. As a result, she is becoming busy with acting day by day. Annyo Prem-er Golpo, Tobuo Tumi, Meye, Mon Chhutey Chai, O Daktar, etc are Sarika Sabah-starrer mentionable plays.
Sarika started her career in showbiz through performing as model in a TVC directed by Adnan Al Rajib. Later she also performed in other TVCs under the direction of Mostafa Sarwar Farooki, Redowan Roni, Ashfaquzzaman Bipul, among others.
Today is birthday of Sarika Sabah. She will take part in shooting on her birthday. She said, “If I could take break on my birthday but Raj Bhai requested me to give time for shooting for a shift. So, I couldn’t take break. In fact, the character Jhumur brought me into limelight in media. I am grateful to full team of Family Crisis. After taking part in shooting I will give time to my family.”
In 2017, Sarika Sabah first acted in a play titled Friends directed by Mostafa Kamal Raj. Due to study she couldn’t manage time for acting. After success in study, Sarika could not give any obstacle from her family to work in media. She wants to act in good story based film now. She completed Honours in Computer Science & Engineering from North South University.
