Sargam, country’s only regular monthly magazine on music, turned into 25 years of its publication on October 1. to keep in mind the corona pandemic situation, Sargam organised a very limited and closed celebration programme featuring discussion and musical performance held at the Sargam mini auditorium at its central office in the capital’s Segun Bagicha area.
Veteran musicologist Muttalib Biswas was present as the chief guest in the programme, while President of the cultural troupe and Editor of Sargam Quazi Rownaq Hossain, among others, were also present on the occasion.
The day also marked the seventh founding anniversary of Sargam Sanskritik Dol. In the brief musical session, Muttalib Biswas, Swapon Kumar Das, Ulka Hossain, Debashish Chakroborty, Ashraf Mahmud, Tashiba Trisha, Sohana and others rendered songs.
