Sarah Jessica Parker will be making a TV
comeback with limited-series adaptation of a crime thriller, Busted: A Tale of Corruption and Betrayal in the City of Brotherly Love. The
49-year-old Sex and the City star would be
playing one of the two leads in the TV drama, which is based on a non-fiction book by
investigative reporters Wendy Ruderman and Barbara Laker, the Hollywood Reporter
reported. The story archives the reporters’ victorious efforts to expose one of the biggest corruption scandals in Philadelphia’s history, where the 10-month series of articles titled Tainted Justice had also earned them a Pulitzer Prize.
