Sri Lanka’s Kumar Sangakkara on Wednesday became only the fourth batsman in history to surpass the 13,000-run mark in one-day internationals, achieving the feat in his 386th match.
The 37-year-old left-hander reached the landmark during the third match against England in Hambantota when he took a single off Chris Woakes to move to 13.
