The First Security Islami Bank Sand Rugby competition will be held today (Friday) at Paltan ground adjoining Bangabandhu National Stadium, said a Bangladesh Rugby Federation Union (BRFU) press release.
BRFU president Abdullah Al Zahir Swapan will formally inaugurate the day-long meet as the chief guest.
A total of 12 teams – six of man’s and six of woman’s – will take part in t he competition, sponsored by First Security Islami Bank and organised by Bangladesh Rugby Federation Union.
The participating teams:
Man’s teams: Flame Boys Rugby Club, Bangladesh J-Sports Rugby Club, Cambrian Rugby Club, Khilgaon Pragati Sangsad, Turjo Sporting Club and Laxmibazar Rugby Club.
Woman’s teams – Flame Girls’ Rugby Club, Topdil.com.bd, Victoria Sporting Club, Cambrian Rugby Club and Laxmibazar Rugby Club.
