After over the six weeks of fighting, the world is still trying to figure how Western pending supply of money and weapons are helping Ukraine in the massive and careless destruction. Despite extraordinary bravery Russia is casually and effortlessly finishing Ukraine to the annihilation Russia-Ukraine war that has seen thousands dead, millions displaced and multiple cities wrecked.

Russian President Vladimir Putin’s mightier military troops and heavy tanks were widely expected to force Ukraine’s troops to surrender “soon”. But that did not happen. Rather, Ukraine is retaking territories as Russia seems to changing its strategy and its military, abandoning its operation in the north in the face of brave Ukrainian resistance.
Russian upending it’s war efforts and reportedly launched a missile attack on Friday that killed at least 52 people at a rail station in Kramatorsk packed with women, children and the elderly fleeing the threat of a Russian offensive in the east. For the attack, Ukraine blamed the Russian army and called for more weapons and harsher sanctions against the invading country.

In spite the relentless humanitarian intolerable human crisis Russia continues, the Western powers cannot think of nothing else but slapping sanctions on Russia more and more creating more and more economic miseries all over the world. Nobody believes except the Western power a war with such a big power like Russian could be checked without military preparation.

Like so much of what has happened in besieged and bombarded Mariupol, information about the attack on the theater has emerged in an unsteady trickle. It is not clear how many civilians were there or how many died, and communication with the city has been all but eliminated. Mariupol’s administration says it believes about 300 people died in the theater strike. Officials said they knew of 130 survivors.

Russia is showing the world how cowardly the Western powers are to face its aggression.

Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky, called the missile attack in Kramatorsk, in the eastern region of Donetsk, a deliberate Russian attack on civilians. “We expect a firm global response to this war crime,” Zelensky said in a video posted on Friday. The city’s mayor estimated that 4,000 people were gathered there at the time. The United States, the European Union and Britain as usual have condemned the attack.

The UK prime minister, Mr Boris Johnson, secretly visited Kyiv and met President of Ukraine to boost the Ukrainian defence forces and offer more help.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg warned the war could last months or even years. Certainly, he said, NATO will “address the need for more air defence systems, anti-tank weapons, lighter but also heavier weapons to Ukraine. Meanwhile, the United Nations General Assembly on Thursday suspended Russia from the UN Human Rights Council over reports of “gross and systematic violations and abuses of human rights” in Ukraine.

Following the Russia’s military buildup near Ukraine, military planners at NATO began preparing to dispatch scores of fighter jets and surveillance aircraft into the skies near Russia and Ukraine. However, NATO will not send troops or capabilities into Ukraine in fear of attack on any of its member states.

If the deaths destruction in massive displacement of people in Ukraine continues for months and the other big powers expect that Ukraine will ensure defeat of Putin’s Russia, we think they are terribly mistaken. Victory in Ukraine is for President Putin a life and death question. Russia’s defeat in Ukraine bring about a change game of government and President Putin’s survival will be at stake.
