Bangladeshi Archer Mohammad Roman Sana reached the 3rd round of the World Archery Championship beating his Serbian rival P Luca by 6-2 sets in the 2nd round match in Denmark city of Copenhagen on Wednesday.
Sana will face world number one Italian rival M Nespoly in the 3rd round on Thursday.
Earlier, the Bangladeshi archer Sana, ranked 33rd, made a good start in the elimination round of the world meet beating his Korean rival Park by 7-3 sets to reach the 2nd round.
In the Women’s Re-curve Division, Bangladeshi archer Shyamoli Roy, ranked 81st, conceded 0-6 sets defeat against her Japanese rival in the first round of the elimination on Wednesday.
In the women’s compound division, another Bangladeshi archer Sushmita Banik lost to her US rival by 141-127 score.
