Samsung now top TV brand globally

Samsung Electronics has secured top position globally selling highest number of TV sets, reports BSS.
A report named “TV sets Intelligence service – Premium” has been published by IHS which stated the worldwide TV market share data based on annual unit and revenue from 2006 to 2015 along with the rank of top three manufacturers, said a press release today.
According to the report, Samsung is ranked no.1 for holding the highest market share in both annual unit basis and revenue basis for the last 10 years.
Recently released figures from IHS, the leading source of insight, analytics, and expertise in technology, validates Samsung’s leadership in the industry, its pole position dating back to 2006.
Firoze Mohammad, Head of Consumer Electronics of Samsung’s Bangladesh said, “Samsung Electronics is leading the TV market globally for 10 consecutive years.” “By the end of this month we will bring our 2016 TV models in the Bangladesh market,” he added.
With the launch of SUHD TV, UHD TV, Smart TV, Curved TV and Full HD, Samsung has created products that successfully anticipates, understand and exceeds consumer expectations.
As a result of Samsung’s continuing exploration to let customers have the best TV viewing experience, it has maintained global leadership of TV brands for the tenth consecutive time.
