Samantha Akkineni is the latest to join the bandwagon of actors-turned-entrepreneurs down South. Teaming up with her celebrity friends, fashion designer Shilpa Reddy and educationist Mukta Khurana, the 32-year-old actress has launched their new pre-school at the affluent area of Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad.
A few days ago, Sam took to her social handle and revealed about her partnership with Shilpa and Mukta to start a new project which she termed as a step towards her passion. On Monday, she unveiled the name and logo of her early learning centre.
Despite busy with films and brand endorsements, the ‘Super Deluxe’ actress is highly active when it comes to charity. In 2012, she started her own NGO, Pratyusha Support, which provides medical support to poor women and underprivileged children. During 2018 Christmas, she turned into a Santa for HIV-affected kids by taking them to a posh shopping mall and purchasing new clothes.
On the work front, Samantha has wrapped up the second season of Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK’s superhit web-series ‘The Family Man’, her debut on the digital medium. Her Telugu film ‘Jaanu’ is scheduled for a release in February.
