In the beginning of New Year, noted director Sokal Ahmed has started shooting of a new drama serial titled Khan Bari Barabari. Basically it is a comedy story based serial which story is written by Yousuf Ali Khokon. Now shooting of first phase of the serial is being held in different locations in the capital’s Uttara area.
Parsa Evana, Kajol Suborno, Nishat Priyom and Samantha are acting in roles of Kona, Jui, Lota and Hena respectively who are also four siblings in the serial. Mim Chowdhury is also acting in role of their sister. Basically story of the serial revolves with these five sisters. Mahmudul Islam Mithu is acting in role of their father. The serial will go on air soon on Boishakhi TV, said director Sokal Ahmed.
While talking about acting in the serial Parsa Evana said, “Sokal Bhai is a talented and noted director. After a long time, I am working under his direction. As story of the serial revolves with five sisters, so we are really enjoying working together.”
Kajol Suborno said, “In the serial, my role is a ‘tom boy’ typed. In this role, I watched Afran Nisho Bhai acted outstandingly well. I am trying to portray my role by own way in the serial.”
Nishat Priyom shared her feelings by this way, “It is my first work under Sokal Bhai’s direction. He is making the serial cordially. During shooting when he feels it is not to be done properly he again take shoot. My role is different from others. So, I am enjoying working in the serial.”
“Everybody, who are working in the serial, are favourite to me. During break time of shooting I am enjoying to gossip with them. I am very much optimistic about the serial,” Samantha said.
Parsa Evana-starrer first TV play was Anjan Aich’s Ponchomir Chand, Kajol’s first work was Deepto TV’s serial Aporajita, Samanta’s first play was Sokal Ahmed-directed Third Eye.
