Mohammed Salim Chowdhury and Md. Mamunur Rashid Molla have been promoted to the deputy managing director (DMD) of South Bangla Agriculture and Commerce (SBAC) Bank Limited, says a media release
Prior to their promotion, they were Senior Executive Vice-President of the same bank.Mohammed Salim Chowdhury: Mohammed Salim Chowdhury has recently been promoted to the post of deputy managing director of South Bangla Agriculture and Commerce (SBAC) Bank Ltd.
Prior to the new role, he was the senior executive vice president and head of manager of Agrabad Branch of the bank. He started his banking career with United Commercial Bank Ltd. as an Officer on 29th March, 1987. Salim has more than three decades of banking experience in diversified fields including exposure as branch manager in NCC Bank and Premier Bank. Prior to joining of the bank, Mohammed Salim was EVP and head of branch of the Premier Bank, Khatungonj Branch. He has more than 31 years job experience in banking sector especially in foreign exchange department. He has attended numerous professional workshops and seminars at home and abroad. He obtained B. Com (Honours) and M. Com (Accounting) degree from the University of Chittagong. Mohammed Salim Chowdhury was born in an aristocrat family of Urkirchar village under Rowzon Upazila of Chittagong District in 1962. He is the eldest son of Late Alhaj Advocate M. A Jabbar Chowdhury.
Md. Mamunur Rashid Molla: Md. Mamunur Rashid Molla has recently been promoted to the post of deputy managing director of South Bangla Agriculture and Commerce (SBAC) Bank Ltd. Prior to the new role, he was the senior executive vice president and head of credit division of the bank. Mr. Mamun joined the bank in 5th April, 2016. He started his banking career with Islami Bank in 1989. Mamun has almost three decades of banking experience in diversified fields including exposure as branch manager in National Bank, Mutual Trust Bank and Prime Bank. During 29 years long career he served a number of reputed Banks in various important capacities including EVP and Regional Head of NBL & Head of Credit Risk Management (CRM) of National Bank Ltd. He has attended numerous professional workshops and seminars at home and abroad.
