Few days ago, Salauddin Lavlu-directed serial ‘Priyo Din Priyo Raat’ was telecasted on Channel i. He is going to make 26-episode serial ‘The Director’ where director himself will play the title role. Kazi Shahedul Islam wrote story of the serial. The serial will be made to telecast on Channel i.
While talking about story and his character in the serial Salauddin Lavlu said, “In fact, an actor becomes hit with the co-operation by director. But sometimes it is forgotten by the actor. It is the main theme of the story of the serial ‘The Director,’ which is presented by playwright Kazi Shahedul Islam nicely. Therefore, many issues of media will also be shown in the story of the serial. I wanted to work with an actor for 25 days at a time. But any actor cannot give his schedule for long time. So, I have decided to play the title role in the serial. Shooting of the serial will start from March 2 in Srimongal. Actors of different platforms of Channel i will take part in shooting of the serial. After Eid-ul-Azha, I will concentrate to make film.”
Meanwhile, Salauddin Lavlu is trying to act now. He has already completed shooting of Azad Kalam’s play titled ‘Khoka Babu.’ He played the title role against Urmila Srabonti Kar, Lavlu also said.
