The salary of Bangladesh female cricketers is increased. Chairman of Women’s Wing of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Shafiul Alam Chowdhury Nadel said to a local website on Thursday, ” The salary of Bangladesh female cricketers is increased. The BCB signed an agreement with the female cricketers of Bangladesh. The monthly salary and the match fee have been increased. It will be effected from this month.”
The salary of the female cricketers has been increased 20 percent. The match fees of ODI and T20I have been increased almost double.
A total of 22 cricketers signed an agreement with BCB. There are four categories of female cricketers. The cricketers of Category-A will get Taka 60 thousand per month, Category-B will be given Taka 48 thousand per month, Category-C will get Taka 36 thousand per month and Category-D will be given Taka 25 thousand per month.
A female cricketer will get US$ 300 (Taka 25 thousand) as match fee of an ODI game and will be given US$ 150 (Taka 12 thousand and five hundred) as match fee of a T20I clash.
Earlier, a female cricketer got US$ 100 as match fee of an ODI game and was given US$ 75 as match fee of a T20I.
