Staff Reporter :
Nine days after missing of BNP Joint-Secretary General Salahuddin Ahmed, his wife Hasina Ahmed will appeal to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina seeking her intervention to get back the missing BNP leader.
Hasina Ahmed, also a former BNP MP from Cox’s Bazar, on Wednesday said that she would formally appeal to the PM today (Thursday) seeking her initiatives in tracing the missing husband. “I have already prepared a draft of the appeal. I will send it to the PM on Thursday,” Hasina Ahmed told media. She, however, did not elaborate details in this regard.
The family members have been alleging that the plainclothes law enforcers picked up Salahuddin from a house at Uttara in the city on March 10. But the law enforcers have been denying the allegation.
Hasina Ahmed said that since the disappearance of her husband, no food is cooked in the house. Meals are being sent by relatives and friends.
