Kazi Md Salahuddin has been unopposed reelected President of South Asian Football Federation (SAFF). Salahuddin has been named President of SAFF for the third time. The election and SAFF Congress were held at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in the city on Wednesday. It may be mentioned that Kazi Md Salahuddin is also the elected President of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF).
After elected as the President of SAFF, Kazi Md Salahuddin said, ” I am thanking all to reelect me as the President of SAFF. We are discussing about our plans. I shall try to expand our activities.”
The officials of the newly elected SAFF Executive Committee are: Kazi Md Salahuddin (Bangladesh) (President), Syed Khadim Ali Shah (Pakistan), Anura De Silva (Sri Lanka), Mani Kunwar (Nepal) (Vice-Presidents), Anwarul Haque Helal (Bangladesh) (General Secretary), Uygen Wangchuk (Bhutan) (Treasurer) and representatives from seven South Asian countries.
