Saif Sporting Club played out the second consecutive draw in the Walton Independence Cup football tournament after a goalless draw against Arambagh Krira Sangha in their Group D match at Bangabandhu National Stadium on Thursday.
Saif SC started the 12-team tournament campaign with a1-1 draw against Chittagong Abahani in the tournament opener at the same venue on January 16.
After the day’s results, Saif SC secured two points from two outings while Arambagh KS and Chittagong Abahani earned identical one point each, playing one match apiece.
All the three teams of Group D have to wait for the results of the next match to see their lucks of last-eight berth.
In the next group match, Arambagh KS will face Chittagong Abahani at the same venue on January 26.
