Saidul Anam Tutul making film after 17 years

In 2001, under the government-grant Saidul Anam Tutul made film Adhiar. To pay tribute to his father late Shamsul Alam Khan, Tutul made that movie based on to focus his life, philosophy and activities. This time Tutul is going to make his second movie which story is based on Ain O Salish Kendra’s a book titled Nari’r 71 O Juddhoporoborty Kothyokahini. This book was published by Ain O Salish Kendra in 2011. In that book, there were many descriptions of physical and mental tortures of Bangladeshi women during the war of liberation by the Pakistani army.
Sanjita is one the characters of that book by whom Tutul will be made his movie titled Kalbela revolving her stories in 1971. To be produced under own production house Aakar this movie will be made under the government-grant.
Tutul informed that he has selected artistes for his movie. Its shooting will be held in Khulna. While sharing his feelings to make this movie after a long time Tutul told this correspondent, “I wanted to make movie but if there was no own satisfied producer how come I could make the movie? It is really not possible for me to make movie with few budget. As I made government-grant movie ‘Adhiar’ so I submitted my application for making my second movie. I got the grant. I will start its shooting after everything will be prepared. I hope viewers will be informed after watching this movie how the Pakistani army tortured our females during the liberation war Farid Ahmed will give its music direction.”
