Sagor competes today

Mahfizur Rahman Sagor of Bangladesh Navy will compete today in the hit of the 50 metre freestyle at Aquatic Swimming Centre in Rio De Janeiro of Brazil. The hit of the Rio Olympics begins today at 10.10 pm. This is for the second time Sagor competes in the Olympics. Earlier, in the London Olympics 2012, Mahfizur Rahman Sagor took part in this event.
A number of seven athletes from Bangladesh are taking part in the Rio Olympics. Of them, golfer Siddiqur Rahman is directly competing in the Olympics.
On the other hand, six athletes of Bangladesh are wild cards.
Sagor finished 39th in the 50 metre freestyle event of London Olympics 2012. He took 24.64 seconds in that hit.
Sagor bagged a good number of gold medals in the domestic competitions. But he has a few successes in international arena. He captured two silver medals and one bronze medal in SA Games 2010, which was held in Dhaka.
