Mohd. Safwan Choudhury has been re-elected as Vice Chairman of Bank Asia Limited at the 453nd meeting of the Board of Directors of the bank held recently.
Mohd Safwan Choudhury is an eminent industrialist of the country. He is a former President of Sylhet Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Choudhury is the Managing Director of M. Ahmed Tea & Lands Company Limited, Phulbari Tea Estates Limited, M. Ahmed Cold Storage Limited, Premier Dyeing & Calendaring Limited, M. Ahmed Real Estates Limited and M. Ahmed Food & Spices Limited. He also served as the Chairman of Bangladesh Tea Association. He is the Chairman of FIVDB, an NGO providing primary education to the under privileged children, said a press release.
