Sabina works hard to prepare footballers

Sabina Khatun is the Captain of Bangladesh National Football team. She is also the Captain of Bashundhara Kings, which is the reigning champions of Bangladesh Women’s Football League. Sabina Khatun is not only famous in Bangladesh, she is also renowned in South Asia as a goal machine. Sabina passed the AFC ‘B’ License Coaches Course. She has a plan after her retirement she will work as a football coach. Sabina has already formed a football academy in her home district Satkhira. The name of her football academy is Warrior Sports Academy. Abu Naser Md Abu Sayeed helped her to form the academy.
A total of 50 players have been included in the three departments of the academy. Sabina wants to pick up footballers from grassroots level. She is the Head Coach of the academy. She selected some booters and then trained them. During the coronavirus-situation she coordinated the activities of the academy by using video footage. The training and the arrangement of the academy has gone forward according to her prescription.
Sabina said, ” I have formed the academy from my own initiative. I want that the trainees of the academy can get the actual lessons of football. I hope they will be a good footballers in the future and one day they will play in the national level.”
Sabina initially formed the academy with the male footballers. In future Sabina will recruit the female footballers in Satkhira who will play in the national level.
