Ace striker Sabina Khatun of Bangladesh scored two goals for Dhivehi Searing Club of Maldives against Police Club in Maldives Women’s Premier Football League on Sunday. Her team defeated their opponents by 3-1 goals. Captain of Bangladesh National Women’s Football team Sabina Khatun went to Maldives to play their domestic football meet for the fourth time. Her compatriot Matsushima Sumaya also played for Dhivehi Sporting Club in that match. Matsushima showed an outstanding display in that match.
Sabina Khatun was adjudged the Player of the Match. Sabina and Co will face Trade Club today.
Sabina Khatun scored 31 goals playing four matches in 2016 and was rewarded Golden Boot. Her team became runners-up in the tournament.
Sabina went to Maldives in 2015. She played for Maldives Police Club. She scored 37 goals playing five matches. Her team finished runners-up in that year football competition.
Sabina Khatun is playing for Bashundhara Kings in Women’s Football League.
