Loan default: SA Oil chairman, MD sued in Ctg

A case has been filed against the chairman and managing director of SA Oil Company Ltd defaulting Tk 22.5-crore loan taken from the Agrabad branch of Bangladesh Commerce Bank Ltd.

filed the case with the Artha Rin Adalat on Sunday.
Judge Suraiya Sahar of the court set November 11 for hearing the case.
The accused are SA Oil Managing Director Sahabuddin Alam and his wife Yasmin Alam, also chairman of the company. According to the case statement, SA Oil Company took the loan for buying crude soybean and failed to pay the loan in time.
