South Africa and New Zealand entered the plate semifinals of the 11th ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup beating their rivals in the play-off quarterfinals at two separate venues in Cox’s Bazar on Thursday.
South Africa notched an 8-wicket victory over Ireland at Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium while New Zealand outplayed Scotland by 7 wickets at Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium Academy Ground.
