First Secretary and Head of the Cultural Department of the Russian Embassy in Bangladesh Alexander P Demin met Dhaka University Vice-chancellor Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique at his office on Monday.
Chairman of the Department of Nuclear Engineering of DU Prof Dr Khorshed Ahmed Kabir was present on the occasion.
During the meeting, they discussed matters of mutual interest, especially regarding ongoing joint collaborative academic and research programmes between the DU and universities in Russia.
