Viewers’ choice popular actress and model Runa Khan injured severely in Nepal’s earthquake on Saturday. Due to earthquake she couldn’t communicate with someone in Bangladesh. Power supply was fully disrupted after the tremor jolts there.
When the earthquake started Runa Khan along with unit members including actors were engaged in shooting in Nagorkot area in Nepal. Though members of the unit remain safe but
Runa’s knee was seriously injured. Her hand was also cut down.
While communicating with her over mobile phone yesterday morning Runa Khan told this correspondent, “Everybody of the unit is safe now. Only I was injured. I have taken primary treatment there. Physician suggested me to x-ray my leg. But lack of electricity I couldn’t x-ray. Right now we need to return to Bangladesh. We are expecting two planes are scheduled to come to Nepal and we will try to return Bangladesh. Everybody pray for us as we can return home safely.”
Runa Khan also informed that they were in Club Himalayan Resort in Nepal, which has already destroyed due to the earthquake.
Before leaving Nepal, Runa finished shooting of Mrittika Goon’s directed a play titled ‘Kalo Megh-er Bhela.’ She went to Nepal for acting in Juboraj Khan’s directed three plays, she said.
