Information and Research Secretary of BNP, city unit and former Whip Syed Wahidul Alam said present government illegally occupied the state power.
He said to sustain their occupation in power, ruling party using state forces and trying to divide the BNP . He disclosed it while addressing the Iftar party as arranged by BNP , Hathazari Unit at Hathazari Parbati Hight School auditorium on Tuesday as Chief Guest.
Wahidul Alam said the spirit of liberation war is undermined in the hands of present ruling party and voting rights and democratic rights destroyed and the people of the country are not safe under this facist govt. He also blamed govt for harassing the BNP leaders at grass root level by entangling in different violence and anarchy cases .
Convenor of HathazariBNP Noor Mohammad presided over the Iftar party, sources said.
