Rubayyat Jahan’s Boishakhi song in Raja Kaasheff’s tunes

The name of Raja Kaasheff became well known to Bangladeshi music composers and directors after arranging music of legendary singer Runa Laila composed some songs. When Runa Laila first started to compose her original five songs from Dhruba Music Station during that time Raja Kaasheff arranged its music from London. As a result, name of Raja Kaasheff became known to Bangladeshi musicians. Under music composition of Raja Kaasheff, London expatriate Bangladeshi singer Rubayyat Jahan’s Boishakhi song titled Boishakhi Melate has already released on YouTube channel.
Sudip Kumar Dip wrote lyrics of the song while Raja Kaasheff has composed its tunes and music. Nur Hossain Hira has made music video of the song.
While talking about composing tunes and music of the song Raja Kaasheff said from London over mobile phone on Wednesday, “To show respect to Runaji, I can say only for her I got popularity among the Bangladeshi musicians. For this reason, I got scope to do some works there. Rubayyat’s song Boishakhi Melate is one of them. While composing tunes and music of the song, I tried to keep Bengali traditions. To keep in mind the viewers’ attention, I have tried to arrange its music nicely. As I know Bangladeshi listeners’ choice about music, so I have composed its tunes and music by this way. Rubayyat has rendered the song nicely. She is getting response from the listeners.”
Singer Rubayyat Jahan said, “Right now if I would stay in Bangladesh, I will surely become glad. On the occasion of Pahela Boishakh, my Boishakhi song has been released. If I would go to Boishakhi fair with my song it will be a delightful matter for me. However, I am really pleased to release the song on the occasion of Pahela Boishakh. I give thanks to all who were related with this song. I give also thanks to Raja Kaasheff to compose such a nice song.” Both Raja Kaasheff and Rubayyat Jahan informed that they are planning to come to Dhaka soon. They have also planned to do some new songs in Bangladesh.
Under the banner of Dhruba Music Station, Rubayyat’s song Duti Chokh and Raja Kaasheff and Rubayyat’s duet song Anubhobe were released.
