Teachers leaning to major opposition parties on Thursday demanded immediate arrest of the armed Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) men who carried out attack on general students at Rajshahi University (RU) campus recently.
Urging to carry out an impartial investigation over the incident, they RU teachers also demanded withdrawal of cases filed against the hundreds general students.
“The authorities must carry out a proper and impartial inquiry over the occurrence to bring the culprits under book,” they added
The teachers also demanded to reopen the university as soon as possible.
