Roundtable on “Agami Projonmer Swapner Dhaka” held in city

With a dream to create a better Dhaka city together, “Junior Chamber International (JCI) Bangladesh successfully organized “Agami Projonmer Swapner Dhaka”-A roundtable discussion at Hotel Lakeshore, Gulshan, Dhaka in the city on Tuesday.
President of FBCCI Shafiul Islam Mohiuddin was present as the chief guest and the DNCC Mayoral candidate Atiqul Islam was as the special guest on this occasion. The program was hosted by Sheikh Fazle Fahim, Senior Vice President of FBCCI.
Several youth from multiple segments of the society including the National President of JCI Bangladesh, Irfan Islam and National Executive Vice President of JCI Bangladesh, Sarah Kamal were present among other dignitaries. With approach to solutions in RMG Segment to city traffic issues and development of local and foreign businesses were discussed. Several questions were directed to the mayoral candidate and mixed reviews on certain issues kept the discussion alive.
Dhaka City has been flourishing under the Mayor late Annisul Huq and people were extremely optimistic about the changes that the former mayor brought into the table. The current youth generation wants that to continue and have high hopes that Dhaka will be one of the model cities in the world for people to follow. RMG entrepreneur Atiqul Islam, who is a mayoral candidate backed up by the current national government plans to continue the good work of his successor Annisul Huq if elected.
He wants to ensure peace and safety of the people at home and mostly on the streets of Dhaka City. He asked opinion from everyone for the modernization and beautification of the city.
The roundtable ended on positive vibes. The youths of Dhaka are known for their strength and capacity to overcome the worst calamities and crises. This spirit of optimism was aptly captured in the discussion and we all can dream of a Dhaka to be a city of peace and happiness.
Mentionable that, Junior Chamber International (JCI) is a worldwide organization of young professionals and leaders between the ages of 18 and 40. The organization is found in over 120 countries and has a membership of 200,000 across the world.

Our work is to contribute to the advancement of the global community by providing the opportunity for young people to develop the leadership skills, social responsibility, fellowship, and entrepreneurship necessary to create positive change.
The JCI Headquarters is in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. As a part of JCI -an international voluntary organization, JCI Bangladesh is running its operation is Bangladesh with around 14 local chapters with member base of around 700 and the local chapters are functioning to serve the community, society and in national level.
