New Governor of Rotary International Bangladesh (2016-17) Mohammad Ayub said that Rotary International has taken initiative to implement vast activities for the welfare of careless and rootless people of the country. He said this at a press conference at the beginning of new Year of Rotary at National Press Club on Thursday.
Former District Governor of Rotary SAM Showket Hossain, Zainul Abedin, M. Hafizullah, District Governor Nominee AFM Alamgir, District Secretary Rakib Sarder, Deputy Governor Abul Khair Chowdhury, Cosmopolitan Club President Shakawat Hossain were present, among others.
Rotary Governor announced next year’s program which included 200 complete model village, rural health program, poverty eradication, student scholarship, mass education, eye operation, Installation of tubewell, low cost housing, greening program, hunger project, Hygienic Latrine will be build in rural area.
