Rosey Selim is a viewers’ choice popular actress in TV plays and films. She is excited to act in a faction play after a long time.
According to her, various problems and family story based plays are not being made now. But Rosey acted in a family oriented story based faction play titled Tumi Ki Aamar-e recently, which was directed by Mostafa Kamal Raz. Besides Rosey, Shahiduzzaman Selim, Jovan and Tanjin Tisha also acted in other roles in the play.
While talking about acting in the faction play Rosey Selim said, “Now it is seen that roles of father and mother are totally absent in plays. Somebody is trying to give priority to their roles in the story of lay. Mostafa Kamal Raz is one of them. I am also acting in his directed NTV’s ongoing serial Family Crisis. I am getting response for acting in the serial. I worked in that Raz’s faction play, which story was really nice. There is restriction to tell about the story of the faction play. So, I will not disclose it right now. In fact, if I tell its story, viewers will not show their interest to watch the play on the screen. In fact, I am really excited to work in the faction play. My mind has fulfilled to act in the play. I give thanks to Raz to make such a family story based play. Besides me, actors, who worked in the play, they were cordial during acting. Overall, it has become an outstanding work. I am very much optimistic about the play, which will be telecasted in a TV channel soon.”
Rosey also informed that now she is acting in four drama serials – Matia Banu Shuku’s Baker Khoni, Mostafa Kamal Raz’s Family Crisis, Akash Ronjon’s Bou Shashuri and Deepto TV’s Maan Obhimaan. She will remain busy with shooting of these serials from September 7 to 21.
Rosey-starrer two films – Raihan Rafi’s Poran and Anonno Mamun’s Psycho are waiting to release soon. In film Poran, she played the role of a villain for the first time, while in Psycho, she acted in role of a teacher. She is also designing costumes for Shahiduzaman Selim directed theatre play Ekti Loukik Othoba Aloukik Steamer, which will be staged soon, Rosey also said.
