Under the arrangement of Federation of Film Societies of India from March 10 Women’s Film Festival is going to be inaugurated at Nandan Park in Kolkata. Today is International Women’s Day. So there will be a seminar session at 5:30pm. From Bangladesh popular actress and director Rokeya Prachi will be present as invited speaker in the seminar titled ‘Is there anything called women’s cinema?’
To attend the seminar, Rokeya Prachi went to Kolkata on March 7. Filmmaker Anumita Dasgupto will moderate the session. Rita Dutta and Abantika Chakraborty will be also present as speakers in the seminar.
Meanwhile, Rokeya Prachi is now engaged with taking preparation for acting in Buddhodev Das Gupto’s movie Urojahaj where she will play its central role. Its shooting will start soon, Prachy said.
