Besides acting, noted actress Rokeya Prachi sometimes makes TV plays and telefilms. She first made a docu-fiction based on late legendary actor Anwar Hossain titled Ekjon Nawab. Later she made several numbers of serials and plays. She has already started to make three telefilms at a time.
Rokeya Prachi is making these three serials based on own written stories. Of these serials, shooting of Swapno Sotti Hote Parey was scheduled to kick off on October 19 in Rajbari. Due to lack of coordination of its actress Lux star Prashun Azad Prachi couldn’t start its shooting. Why Prashun suddenly refused to work in the telefilm despite having schedule Prachi has given a status on her Facebook account.
She wrote: “Prashun wanted to bring her brother in the shooting. But when I asked her is the real brother? Prashun replied, ‘No,’ he is her assistant. To take her photograph and to assist her during shooting time, he wanted to go with her. Though he was her assistant so I wanted to take him another vehicle later Prashun didn’t agree. At last, I have to cancel shooting.”
In the Facebook account, Prashun also gave her comment where an indication of a male director was found.
Rokeya Prachi informed that she will again start the shooting of the telefilm after casting new actress. She will make two more telefilms titled Rubina and Amena Ebong Fulkir Golpo. Now she is engaged with selection of its actors.
It is noted that Rokeya Prachi directed first TV serial was Selai Poribar, which was telecasted on Channel i. Her acted new serial is Tobuo Bhalobashi. It will be aired on Ananda TV. Therefore, Prachi acted another serial Porompora is being aired on SA TV now.
