BSS, Dhaka :CM Mahtabuddin Ahmed Robin of Bangladesh Navy Junior Chess Team emerged as champion in the Shahid Mufti Kashed International Rapid Rating Chess Tournament that concluded Friday in Mymensingh. FM Mehdi Hasan Parag finished as the runner-up. Robin and Parag both earned 6 points each out of 7 games. Three players secured 5.5 points each. Their positions are: 3rd-IM Abu Sufian Shakil of Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited, 4th-Golam Mostafa Bhuiyan of Titas Club Chess Team and 5th-Abdullah Al-Saif of Golden Chess Club.
