Mobile phone operator Robi on Thursday celebrated the milestone of having 10 lakh subscribers in its 4.5G network.
Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Minister Mustafa Jabbar attended the ceremony as the chief guest while State Minister for ICT Division Zunaid Ahmed Palak, MP, was present as the special guest, said a press release.
Since the launching of the 4.5G service in February 20, Robi has so far expanded its 4.5G network in 424 thanas with more than 4,700 sites. Meanwhile, another four lakh subscribers have been connected to the Airtel 4G+ service so far.
Speaking on the occasion, Mustafa Jabbar said he would like to congratulate Robi for achieving the milestone.
