An incident of robbery occurred in the residence of one photo journalist SM Tamanna in Pahartali thana area on Thursday night.
The incident occurred at Dream Tower of Boubazar area under Pahartali thana in city . Tamanna was residing in 3rd floor of the apartment building.
Tamanna has been serving as photojournalist of Amader Samay , Chittagong bureau office . Pahartali thana police sources said photo journalist Tamanna went to Dhaka to participate the founding anniversary function of the daily on Thursday and his wife also went to her father’s house in villagehome .
After back from father’s house at about 10 pm , Tamanna’s wife found that door lock of the apartment is broken and valuables and ornaments were takenaway from the steel cabinet .Sources said the robbers took away one camera lense, one flash, one laptop, two digital camera, 4 sets organaments, four clocks and some cash taka.
Second officer of Pahartali thana Fazlul Hoque admitted the occurrence of the robbery and a police team also visited the residence of the journo yesterday morning.
