The robbers in the night of Monday looted 10 tollas of gold ornaments and cash for Taka 80 thousand, Passports and Saudi Real from the house of a Saudi expat at Foyla village in Kaliganj municipality.
Locals said, a gang of armed robbers after breaking the windows entered in to the house of Saudi Arabian expat Idris Ali. They tied the inmates of the house with ropes and decamped with the valuables. Later the locals rescued them and informed to police.
Kaliganj police officer in charge Anwar Hossain said, no written complaints he received so far. Steps will be taken in this regard, the OC said.
