A member of a robbery gang was lynched by an angry mob in the city on Wednesday .
The incident was occurred at Mirzapur under Hathazari thana of the district .
The deceased was identified as Nazrul Islam but his address yet to be traced. Oficer- In-Charge of Hathazari thana said local people caught him while threatening a person in a local market.
The angry mob on sensing the news of his detention by the local, beat him mercilessly leaving him dead on the spot, district police sources said.
