UNB, Jhenidah :
Police arrested an alleged a robber in possession of two crude bombs and a sharp weapon from Paglakanai Beka Bridge area in the district town on Wednesday night.
The arrestee was identified as Ali Akter,20, son of Golam Sarwar, a resident of Gayeshwar Master Para of the district town.
Shahriar Hasan, sub-inspector of Sadar Police Station, said on secret information, a team of police conducted a drive in the area at about 10.00pm and arrested Ali.
Police also recovered two crude bombs and a sharp weapon from his possession.
